 | Our woven wire mesh is used in almost every industry. Accordingly we are weaving wire mesh in countless combinations of material, weaves, openings and wire diameters.
We are also weaving wire mesh in accordance with DIN and ISO standards. |
The woven wire mesh is produced by means of steel or metal wires that are weaved together.
The openings between the wires are called aperture width.
The standard mesh is the plain weave with square meshes.
We can supply the wire mesh in many different materials, e.g:
- Bright steel
- Galvanized steel
- Stainless steel
- Acid resistant steel
- Brass
- Copper
- Phosphorbronce
- Monel
- Titan
The mesh configuration is stated by mentioning the aperture width (w) and the wire diameter (d).
The most common method is the "Mesh per inch" which is given a number.
The mesh aperture width is the opening between the wires. It is given in mm or µm.
The wire diameter is given in mm.
Special mesh
- Sieving mesh in steel or metal
- Mesh used in the paper or board industry
- Filter mesh for oil-, hydraulic- or gas filter applications
Plain Weave

The most common type of weave.
Very big open area. Good for glueing, welding or tensioned frames.
Twilled Weave

Good flow performance. Good for high mechanical tensions.
Plain Dutch Weave

Good flow performance.
Twilled Dutch Weave

With this type of weave you obtain the smallest openings that can be manufactured with solid wires.
The smooth surface is very easy to clean. This type of mesh has a high degree of material content which means high tensile strength.
